Terrorist Winter

click here to see the view from my office window on September 11 after the North Tower collapsed. Remember that it was a clear sunny day. The shapes are reflections from inside.

The picture was taken by a colleague.

**BEGIN RANT**
More IE-specific code. Wish people would stop trying to be clever with Javascript and just give us the link! :oP
**END RANT**
FYI: All Mozilla sees is an empty window and 5 minutes worth of modem lights.

Well, alright, 24 hours later and more time to see whats going on. It ain't IE-specific, but it is a horrendous example of what happens when (my guess) you use the browser to resize an image.
Here's what I get on my creaky 28K dialup (best that's available here, thanks SBC/Ameritech): Start 0:00 (mins:secs) window opens. Blink-blink-blink. 4:00 (!) image starts to render. 5:45 half way there. 7:15 complete. Sheesh... how many megs is that? :-)
