In November, I posted and discussed an image sent to a young Brazilian friend. It purports to be a U.S. junior high school textbook, but a quick read of its strange enviro-racist message and poor English reveal it to be a hoax.
A few Brazilians have stopped by to comment, offering up sites in portuguese that debunk it. The latest poster, however,suggests this meme spread fast and far enough to influence the upcoming election. While acknowledging it is obviously a hoax, "Ibis" suggests it was perpetrated by a U.S. agency to test public opinion! hmmm.....
