Gulf War II claims its first casualties, though it's unclear whether it was from enemy fire, or simply an accident. Meanwhile, more and more people seem to think that Sadaam was in that bunker, and Iraq may fall almost painlessly, for us and them. I don't want to predict such a thing -- but I can hope, can't I?

I don't think we'll get that lucky, but I do believe that we will overwhelm the enemy rather easily unless they pull off some despearte act like using chemical, biological or (God forbid) nuclear weapons.
If we did get Saddamm that quickly, how will that affect the Iraqi command structure? Who will take the reigns? Is it someone we can work with or an even crazier SOB?
This will prove to be an interesting wekend. I may even tape the Oscars this year just for the historical (and hysterical) value.
