Megan, baby, show some love for us on the West coast and don't go on television until about lunchtime, so we're awake... :)

Let's get back to the topic of pharmaceuticals imported from Canuckistan into the land of free free free trade:

Justice Dept. Moves to Close Broker of Canada Drugs
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Filed at 2:41 p.m. ET

MIAMI (AP) -- The Justice Department on Tuesday threatened to sue the president of Rx Depot unless he shuts down the chain of stores that arranges sales of prescription drugs from Canada to U.S. senior citizens.

In a letter obtained by The Associated Press, the department gave Carl Moore until Thursday to agree to shut down the 85 stores.

The department said the stores violate federal law by helping U.S. consumers import drugs from Canada; only manufacturers are allowed to bring medicines into the country.

Moore said he has no intention of signing the agreement.

``Just because this is the federal government, this does not scare me. I look forward to my day in court,'' Moore said.

Because of Canadian regulations, prescription drugs from Canadian pharmacies often cost 50 percent less than they do in U.S. drugstores.

Rx Depot, based in Tulsa, Okla., operates storefront businesses in half a dozen states, including Florida, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Pharmacy regulators from four states have tried to close Moore's stores in their states. Only one, Montana, has succeeded. The Food and Drug Administration has also demanded he close his operation in Arkansas.

Since the beginning of the year, four drug companies have started to limit the amount of drugs they ship to Canada in hopes of choking off supplies to companies that sell the drugs back to Americans.
