One more bleg

Amazon commissions are on a sort of a step function, by number of items ordered, and they're compiled quarterly. I'm within spitting distance of the next level, if y'all will help out by clicking through the link on the right and doing any remaining shoppng you may be thinking of at Amazon. If y'all play your cards right, it could put me in a position to replace my departed TiVo!

Bought my wife that kitchenaid pro6 mixer you were talking about - great buy from amazon at $249 - if you like white and you can stop in to a store that carries them and get a $50 main-in rebate on top of that!

Just ordered Applied Economics and a couple of other things. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, Jane, but I can't be an enabler of your TiVo habit.

What, no threats of tears pouring "right out of [your] big green eyes and down [your] porcelain cheeks"?

Does this work no matter WHAT I buy there? Or does it have to be your list of items?

No matter what you buy, god bless you.

I just passed the 10,000 item level which level you need a bump to?

You should have had a reader get you a free TiVo -- they were giving them away at TiVo HQ on Friday.

Do you know how Amazon handles accumulated shopping carts? I usually build up items in my shopping cart over a few months, and have wondered how that affects the Amazon commissions. If I put in in my cart two months ago from a click on your site, to you get the commission on that item when I finally buy it? Or can I accumulate stuff in my cart, click to Amazon from AI, and get you the commission on my whole cart? Or none of the above? (I once asked Virginia Postrel this question, BTW. She didn't know.)

I won't shop at Amazon. They donate heavily to Republicans. Barnes & Noble donates to Democrats. I'll shop there instead.
