I was surprised to see he was only 69. I remember seeing him in movies when I was a kid. I think he was the original star of the Fantastiks.

I was disappointed that on his last Law and Order episode, he just picked up a cardboard box and walked out. And I'm sorry we'll never get to see him star in his own show.

Xboy -- Apparently a few episodes have been filmed, and will be aired. They haven't decided how to write him out of the show. I hope they have him die in the line of duty (off-camera, necessarily) and have a big ol' funeral, and Bloomberg can do a cameo, and Bill Clinton can turn up and feel everyone's pain. That'd be nice, if his family's good with it.
