Obviously, Michael, you haven't attended blogger bashes in NY. I assure you, the one JG organized previously, with visiting Samizdata illuminaries (was it some Moroccan restaurant, M?) was excellent.

Hmmm, not sure if I would fit in. According to this
site it's for 20-somethings, yuppies and the like. Will a man who likes to kick back with a tall, cold Bud and watch ESPN have a place to sit?
"A bordello-like bar" and drinks named "Sweet Little Bitch" does sound kinda frisky though and I do need a little frisk.

I am looking forward to the blog party. I have never been to one and would love to attend my first blog party. Just hope that I have a great time there......real soon.

Uh oh, I'm a 20-something yuppie working in Lower Manhattan. I have no excuse not to go except trying to explain to people on Friday and Monday what a "blog party" is.

The neighborhood and sort of place I used to hang out in, um, some years ago.

Now I walk my kids by it taking them to play ball on Pier 40.
