Jim Henley is the zen master of blogging. I am selling my possessions, moving to Washington, and shaving my head in the hopes that after several years of squatting on his doorstep, he will take me on as his disciple.

Comment pointing out that Jane has three cousins and a sister in the DC area who will no doubt be expected to 1) bring food; and 2) work as a placeholder and take Jane's place genuflecting so she can go off to the bathroom.
Attempt at inteligent, witty comment with vague hope that it will be so well-recieved it will inspire Jane to contact the poster and make plans to meet for drinks but which contains such egreegious misspellings that even if there had been any theoretical chance of such contact, there was, in fact, no chance at all, and which is surprisingly not follow-uped with a corrective post, even though poster notices one of the errors while basking in the glow of his now-published wit, because he quickly and defensively rationalizes that Jane probably is fat like James said.

Observation that while Henley has a trenchant wit, he has a talent for getting substantial matters wrong. Which fact makes him more like the President than he suspects.
