BloggingChef!

The Iron Chef Blogger, or Blogging Chef, even is now up on Bloggingheads TV. If you haven't seen Iron Chef, watching this will help explain the introduction and what we were imitating, while this will explain the ending (though that really needs much less explanation). Though note that usually IronChef only has one secret ingredient, not five. Anyway, watch at least the first before you watch Jane Galt, Iron Chef Libertarian, take on Spencer Ackerman, Iron Chef Liberal, in a titanic battle of ideology and cuisine.

Wow, that was awkward. Thank you for including me.

Damn. I just started watching the intro and I want to know how come I never have gotten to ride in the invisible plane?

Chris just said that what he'd really like to see is a social conservative cooking show where you can't refer to the "chicken breast" as such.

As someone who enjoyed this episode very much, the explanation of the food chemistry of trans fats is horrifying to this chemist. All to say that there are areas that all of us have just the barest of understanding: I have the hardest time with Megan's demand curves (not her demanding curves) or a reasonable explanation of Baumol's cost disease.

Congratulations on your victory, Megan! And it was a fun show to watch, too. You guys kept up a flow of quite interesting banter while concocting your culinary masterpieces. And you looked great too!
