Very even handed, no ad-hominems, just a methodical repsonse and critique of Lomberg's poor understanding of the science in the field. And while the introduction is pretty obnoxious, the meat of the extinction essay (Wilson et al) was, to my eyes at least, a powerful rebuttal of Lomberg's arguments and evidence that calls into question either Lomberg's integrity or his research, given the gross errors in the data he presents.
