First, congrats!

Second, how long were you, umm, an "enhanced leisure citizen"?

Third, how'd you find the job? Contacts? Through the blog?

Fourth, what's the function? Marketing, financial analyst?

(Just trying to get a sense of what flickering pulse there is out there in the labor market. Feel free to ignore questions if too rude/intrusive.)

It's a media job, I found it through a contact which actually came indirectly through this blog, and I've been freelancing since October, though I've really been looking for a job like this since I decided to pursue media in July. So almost a year. The job market is still tough, and personal contacts are still the best way to go. I won't reveal details 'til I've discussed the blog policy with my employer, but I'm thrilled -- the job's exactly what I've been looking for.
