Asymmetrical Information

The word "awesome" is entirely overused, but it is still the appropriate adjective to describe the terrain around Mt. St Helen's a quarter century after the big bang. I worry about my friends in Seattle should Ranier ever come back to life. To look at that huge mass of rock, ice, and snow on a clear Seattle day, and think of what the effect of it being quckly transformed into ash, mud, and water would be, is really creepy.
