From the desk of Jane Galt:Reduced blogging
What a week it's been! Laid low by horrible flu just as I was supposed to be getting ready for an extended stay in London, where I'm taking up a new job.
I'm recovered now, and flying out tonight. Blogging will be nonexistant for a while, as I haven't yet got broadband at my new home (God bless British Telecom), and I'm going to be very busy with my new gig.l
Tally ho, and all that rot. Hopefully I'll be back by the weekend.

And just because someone tells you that they're going out for a fag, it doesn't mean they're gay.
My wife works for BT in Global Ops. Wish I could tell you different, but dealing with them domestically in the U.K. is just as frustrating as dealing with cable/telecom companies here in the U.S.
Hope you've sacked away some coin though. If a purchase costs you a dollar here it will cost you a pound there and currently the pound is $1.91. Ouch!
Oh well, admission to the V&A is still free.

After three weeks I thought I would mention it.

Everybody else: If you need something to read while Jane is off-line, come here. Yes, that's a shameless bleg, but if Jane can bleg every now and then, why can't I? ;-)
