Thanks for the tip. I've never really understood how the Fed works and affects the economy. Of course I still don't, really, but I think I can at least now grasp the bigger picture.

This is old news. All you need to read is "...the degree of financial stimulus needed to steer the economy onto a desirable path..." to understand that these guys have no more clue than the birds in the bushes. The supply-siders are right. Bring back gold.

What fascinates me is the dependence on Government Debt. What happens if the government does not issue securities?
